Located just 20 minutes from downtown Seattle in picturesque southern Snohomish
County, Lynnwood offers a serene, wooded retreat from the hustle and bustle of
the city. Providing easy access to Interstates 5 and 405 and Highway 99, as well
as a stunning location bordered by the Cascade Mountains to the east and Puget
Sound to the west, the city is an ideal place for businesses and families alike.
Lynnwood residents are heavily invested in maintaining the natural beauty of
their town and the Parks and Recreation department has set aside several hundred
acres for parks, trails and open space. The park system is just one of the ways
in which the city encourages its over 30,000 residents to promote a happy, healthy
environment. The
Edmonds School District serves Lynnwood students with a number of public and
private primary and secondary schools, and post-secondary education is also
available in and around the city. Snohomish County is home to the Technology
Corridor and
many Lynnwood residents are employed at one of the area’s many biotech,
aerospace or software firms. Recreational opportunities abound, including year-round
snow skiing, camping, golfing, ferry trips, hiking and fishing. Lynnwood is
also just 100 miles from Vancouver and a ferry ride away from the San Juan
Islands
and the Olympic Peninsula, affording easy
